Dr Glenn Mason is a HCPC and BPS Chartered Counselling Psychologist, BABCP Accredited Psychotherapist, EMDR Therapist and a BPS approved clinical supervisor. He has worked in the helping profession since 2001 in a variety of settings - NHS, charity sector, private practice, criminal justice, youth and community development, residential social work with adolescents and in hostels for those experiencing homelessness. 

Currently, Dr Mason works part-time as a Senior Clinical Lead in the private sector and in his own private practice Sanctuary Psychology Services. He is also a regular contributor to local, national and International media and works as a duty of care Psychologist with television and production companies. 

Dr Mason's areas of specialism are trauma and complex trauma, living with chronic pain and LGBTQ+ mental health. He also has a specialist interest in narrative research methods. His clinical practice is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and Narrative Exposure Therapy.
